How does Give2Teams work?
Upon submitting your initial request and discussing your fundraising goals with Give2Teams, coaches, point people and players will utilize our online donation platform to send out donation requests via email, social media, and SMS. Give2Teams' streamlined interface and integration with social media connects your program to a larger participating audience, and our user-friendly online portal makes it easy to process donations and track the progress of each campaign. Give2Teams also sends emails to prospective supporters throughout the campaign to initiate additional interest. Most importantly, with Give2Teams, supporters have the freedom to securely pay for donations with their credit or debit cards.
What does it cost to start a fundraiser?
There is no initial start-up fee to begin a Give2Teams campaign, so nothing comes out of pocket to start raising your funds. Instead, we charge a percentage fee of the overall funds raised after the close of your campaign.
Your group keeps up to 90% of the total dollars raised.
When will I recieve my funds?
Your direct deposit will take up to 30 days after your campaign end date to be delivered.
Is my payment secure?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information.
We use a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database and only stored as a referential key after approval via Stripe.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Can I receive a refund on my donation?
If the fundraiser you donated to is still active and the donation or purchase was made in error, we are able to process a refund. The person requesting the refund must match the name of the donor. We are unable to process a refund on behalf of another donor. If the fundraiser that you have donated to has ended, we will not be able to process a refund.
